Manta Marine Design has always had a special relationship with traditional sailing vessels, tallships and sailing cargo vessels. This last category is generally seen as an extinct trade however all over the world intiatives are started again or being developed for wind-assisted cargo vessels or fully windpowered sailing vessels for transporting cargo, driven by the need for a more sustainable and cleaner way of transport of cargo over seas. We are involved in creating new designs or otherwise support existing vessels with our professional services for these intitiatives.
