GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Bornrif is a classic sailing yacht, built with modern materials and modern building techniques. The multi-chined steel or alumium hull is built up with 4 overlapping strakes. The Bornrif 35sf is based on the Bornrif 33SC, but is outfitted with a fixed keel. Besides that compared to the 33SC it has the hull extended at the stern for more storage and as such doesn't have a sternhung rudder. That cabin is extended forward for headroom in the front cabin.

The main focus of the design is comfortable long range ocean sailing and passage making.

The Bornrif is standarly outfitted with a cruiser cutter rig. All sailhandling can be done from the cockpit.
